Log On / Log Off
Enter your user name and password. The Logon button will then appear.
Click the Logon button.

If your user name and password are correct:
  • Log Off button appears
  • Hollow person icon at top right changes to green solid person icon

  • Click the Log Off button to log off.
    User Account

    Create a free VЯitty cloud account:
    With your VЯitty account, logon to VЯitty to download this application.

    Begin CADeя
    At logon, your previously selected models folder will appear with all the models in that folder.

    If you haven't already created a folder with your models, use VЯitty Vieweя app to create folders of models.
    If you do not yet have any models to add to your folder, you can find various USDZ models on the internet,
    or you can create your own models using your Apple LiDAR device and VЯitty Scanneя app and VЯitty Modeleя app.
    Select Models Folder
    To select or change your selected models folder, click Select Models Folder button.


    The file picker appears and you select a folder on your Apple device or iCloud drive.
    The models in the folder will appear in the left navigation scrolling model list.

    The models folder may also be selected using the Gear icon in the CADeя preferences.
    Model View
    To view a model, click on any model in the left navigation scrolling model list.
    That models appears under the Model View.

    3D Rotate
    Click and hold the mouse on the model to rotate.
    Use the mouse scroll wheel to move model up and down.
    Hold the option or shift key, use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
    Measure
    Click 3D Rotate button to change to Measure mode

    Click and hold mouse down on the starting point on the model, a length value appears.
    Drag the mouse with the mouse button down to the end point, release mouse button.

    A red line and measured value appears. If the red line is not visible,
    it may be inside the model. Click on Show Wireframe to to see it.

    Make multiple measurements, they appear in a list below the model and the measurement is on the clipboard.

    Press the Clear button to remove all measurements.
    Exploded View
    To Exploded View is used to build an isometric 3D model by combining the individual models.
    The individual models are the pieces that go together to create the entire assembly.
    Assemble
    Initially the center view is empty. Click on a model on the left model list to add it to the assembly.

    The current active model appears with a red dot. The next assembly piece will be added relative to the active model piece.

    The Insert Position on right side Assembly tool indicates where the next model piece will be added relative to the active model piece.
    Edit vs Scroll/Rotate Mode
    Edit Mode
    The Insert Position on right side Assembly tool indicates where the next model piece will be added relative to the active(red dot) model piece.
    Select Mode
    You can change the active model piece (red dot), by clicking on any other piece.

    When there is only one piece in the model, it is the active piece.
    Delete Mode
    You can delete any model piece by clicking on it.
    Zoom/Rotate Mode
    Click on Edit to change to the Zoom/Rotate Mode. Click again to return to Edit Mode.

    Click and hold the mouse on the model to rotate.
    Use the mouse scroll wheel to move model up and down.
    Hold the option or shift key, use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out.

    You can insert model pieces while in Scroll/Rotate.
    Insert Position
    Click to change where the next insert will occur relative to the active piece:
  • Above
  • Below
  • Front
  • Behind
  • Left
  • Right
  • Show Wireframe
    Toggle this button to display/hide the model's wireframe.
    Show Orthogonal Projection
    The model is displayed on a 30 degree angle.

    This may make some area of the 3D model easier to see when zooming or rotating.
    Show Assembly Overview
    You can add an assembly overview picture to your model.

    This should be a 2D model (refer to 2D models in the Modeler app)
    Click Hide Assembly Overview to change to Show Assembly Overview. Red box appears.
    Select a 2D model from the right side models list and drag to red box in upper right.
